HISTORY

Darin, the owner of Valley Slinger, has been driving dump trucks since he was 18 years old! He purchased his first Tandem Axle Truck and Pup back in 2005 and then purchased his first Slinger in 2007. By 2009, he owned 3 slingers, and made the decision to focus on building the Valley Slinger company. In 2010, he purchased a newer Tandem and now has 2 new Slingers, a new Tandem, and an older Tandem.

Valley Slinger is based out of the Cowichan Valley, serving the south Vancouver Island from Nanaimo to Victoria.

What we do

We perform a number of services for our clients. We do foundation infill/backfill, perimeter drains, septic fields, landscaping including: bark mulch, soils, garden beds, pathways & water features.

We also do hydro pole installation, for the municipality: water and sewer line repairs, working with a hydrovac, and water box installation.

Driveways, sidewalks, pathways, concrete and asphalt prep, and subdivision roads are common services. And for your horse needs, riding arenas and horse paddocks.

We can maneuver over fences, around corners, up or down a bank or foundation, with minimal raking needed, between houses, along the water - places an excavator cant go!

Tandem jobs include: hauling in or out of a site, chain spreading straight truck or truck and pup, rock, stumps, brush, and fill material.
